The City of Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department provides park facilities and programs to accommodate the needs and interests of local residents and visitors. Whether you are into sports, nature or just want to take your children to the playground, the City of Fullerton is the place for you.
The Fullerton City Park covers 2 1/2 acres and contains restrooms, a sand volleyball court, a picnic area and grills. A walking path surrounds the park, it has installed playground equipment and an obstacle course for the children. The Park is also the location of a number of activities throughout the Spring and Summer.
Annual celebrations include the Alumni Reunion held on Memorial weekend, Fourth of July celebration and parade, the Nance County Fair held in July and the Old Fashioned Christmas on the first Friday in December.
