Water Rates & Policies

Listed below, you will find the City of Fullerton current water rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you. 

§3-301 UTILITIES GENERALLY; UTILITY BILLS; COLLECTION. Charges for water and sewer service shall be billed jointly on a bimonthly basis. The Water Commissioner shall read, or cause to be read, water meters after the first day of January, March, May, July, September and November. Utility bills shall be mailed on the first (1st) day of February, April, June, August, October and December, and shall be due and payable  twenty three (23) days of each billing month. Bills not paid by the 23rd  day  of the billing month that the bills are mailed, shall then be charged a late fee of ten dollars ($10.00). Bills not paid within thirty (10) days after they are sent out shall be deemed to be delinquent. Upon being deemed to be delinquent, as herein defined, the Municipality may discontinue service pursuant to section 3-302 of this code. Once discontinued, service shall not be recommenced except upon payment in full of all delinquent charges and upon further payment of a re-connection fee in the amount of forty dollars ($40.00). The Municipality may also take any action authorized by law to effect collection of the delinquent charges. (Ref. 17-542, 17-925.01, 18-416 RS Neb.)
